Education Policy Proposals

Several Minnesota higher education and advocacy groups have proposed 2007 education agendas. These proposals are tied to the state's education needs and challenges and include the following:

Minnesota Private College Council — representing 17 private, four-year liberal arts colleges

University of Minnesota — the largest Minnesota public institution and the primary research university in the state

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities — 32 colleges and universities including 25 two-year colleges and seven state universities

Ready4K — grassroots group supporting early childhood development and learning readiness

Minnesota Association of School Administrators — membership association of superintendents and administrators that seeks to be a change agent for education

Minnesota's Promise — a call to action from 25 current and former superintendents throughout Minnesota to transform public education in our state
