More About the Show — Vanishing Graduates

The program is part of the LearnmoreMN initiative. It features 18 education leaders, business people, college students and other experts, painting a picture of our state's education challenges, tied to both global changes and our demographic shifts at home (read their bios). It points to the need to consider how we do a better job of helping more students succeed in school and move on to college. They also help convey what people can do to make a difference.

Funders

Financial assistance for this program was provided by Travelers and the Foundation for Independent Higher Education. In addition, given the state’s celebration this year of 150 years of statehood, the Minnesota Private College Council has considered the creation of this program as our contribution to the state’s sesquicentennial, which kicks off in May. This seems to be fitting, given the importance of education and our member institutions to Minnesota's history — and to the state’s future.
